    This layer of the Cityโ€™s buildings is based on aerial imagery captured by Pictometry in January 2013. The outlines were captured using a semi-automated method with post-process editing. Some in-house edits were performed to reflect local knowledge of the landscape.

    Code Enforcement regularly holds adjucation hearings on specific blighted properties, in addition to monthly BlightStat meetings where Code Enforcement, other City departments and NORA present their respective progress on blight.

    This dataset reflects incidents that have been reported to the New Orleans Police Department in 2014. Data is provided by Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD), the administrative office of 9-1-1 for the City of New Orleans.

NOLA Master Street List - DRAFT
This lists replaces the previous version of the New Orleans street name file. It is a work-in-progress and will be updated as needed. This version updates column names and corrects spellings of several streets in order to alleviate confusion and simplify street name research. It represents an inventory of official street name spellings in the City of New Orleans. Note: This list may not represent what is currently displayed on street signs. City of New Orleans official street list is derived from New Orleans street centerline file, 9-1-1 centerline file, and CPC plat maps. Fields include the full street name and the parsed elements along with abbreviations using US Postal Standards. Status: Active: Currently a known used street name in New Orleans Active - Paper: Currently a known used street name on a planned but not developed street. Private property may exist on this land and is likely addressed to these names. Not in use: Previously used name that is no longer in use Unknown: Records of this name exist but it is unclear if the street names is still in use by any city department or government agency.

Library Cardholders (2012 - Present)
This data set includes data on library cardholders by month, including new registrants, the number who used their card in the last month, and the number who used their card in the last three years for the New Orleans Public Library system. After three years, users are dropped from the database, so this is considered the total library cardholders count. This data also includes the annual population estimate as of July 1 for the previous year (unrevised) from the U.S. Census Bureau, Population Division. The percent of the population who used a library card in the last 3 years for the current month (monthly #/population estimate) and year-to-date (average of monthly #s for the months so far in the year / population estimate) are calculated using this population estimate and included as well.
