These guys are so great. It inspires us that much we are going to do the same thing in the same setting but than with Marc Canter an Michael Arrington at our web conference.

I love those guys! I used to watch this show all the time when I was growing up…are they on DVD?

Ah, those guys are the best. I know a few people who could be them all too easily.

Heck, I could be one of them, if I wasn’t more careful. ;)

I have a random UI comment that I noticed about videos after playing a couple today. What I noticed is that despite the giant play icon on the video screen I always strain to click on the small play button at the bottom in fear of it taking me to another site to play the video.

I thought I was being stupid, so I clicked the big convenient button and sure enough it linked to YouTube instead of playing it inline. Argh.

Funny video though.

Oh, I see what happened. The big play button action looks like it encompasses the whole screen, but really if you miss it and click on the image it links you. That seems like odd behavior to me, anyway.

Anyone who wants to learn a bit more about Statler and Waldorf can do so at their Wikipedia entry. They’ve got a huge list of quotes over there, too, including several from this video.

Man, this makes me really miss Jim Henson.

There is also an entry about them on the excellent Muppet Wiki:
