2015 Commencement Weekend Guide
The College of Arts and Sciences’ convocation for bachelor’s degree candidates will be held Saturday, May 9, at 9 a.m. in the Carrier Dome. The convocation for master’s degree candidates will occur at 2 p.m. in Setnor Auditorium of Crouse College. Receptions will follow both events.
The following day, Mary Karr, the College’s Peck Professor of Literature, will speak at the University’s commencement ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Carrier Dome. The award-winning poet and memoirist will also receive an honorary degree.

Kristopher Murray ‘15, a senior majoring in biochemistry in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, has been awarded a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation.

Amy Kallander, an associate professor of Middle East history has received a Summer Stipend Research Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, which she will use to support her ongoing project, “Women, Family, and the Modern Nation in Postcolonial Tunisia.”
