SwitchEasy Cover Buddy for iPad 2 back cover review
Accessory Reviews - June 27, 20110 Comments-->
|
As soon as I saw the Apple Keynote when Steve Jobs introduced the iPad 2 to the world, I knew I would have to get some kind of case, or back case for the iPad 2. I bought my first iPad on launch day and the first thing I noticed about the iPad was how hard it was to hold in one hand while reading, especially when laying down. The weight of the iPad as well as the slick aluminum back make it difficult to hold.
When I picked up the iPad 2 I immediately noticed how much easier it was to hold tha...read more

iPad Facebook app in the works and coming soon
News - June 17, 20110 Comments-->
|
iPad users who like Facebook will be getting a dedicated FB app soon, if the New York Times is correct. Facebook has had an iPhone app for a long time, but they have failed to expand the app for the iPad. In the past we've seen the company quoted as saying the iPad is "not mobile" and therefore wouldn't get an app, but it looks like those quotes were either false, or simply a mis-direction.
The New York Times is reporting that Facebook has been actively working on a dedicated iPad app for nea...read more

How to unsubscribe from The Daily on the iPad
News - June 14, 20110 Comments-->
|
I've been reading "The Daily" on my iPad for a few weeks now and I'm not really impressed. This app received a huge amount of press as the first iPad-only newspaper, but since then the reviews haven't been so favorable.
At first glance the app seems very slick, but it's not all that impressive once you start to use it. The UI is flashy, but weird. The content is okay, but you can get the same news with the free USATODAY app.
The Daily takes a long time to update the app each day, especi...read more

There are nice features like photo editing, new features in the camera app are nice, Twitter integration, and an on board dictionary, but so much of what they announced have ...read more
