- Slugfest is a heroic Dinocon Mini-Cassette from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.
Slugfest thinks highly of himself, but relies on his larger allies to take care of him. He's thankful for the neural upgrades Starscream gave him and the other Dinocons, but he's still quite slow.

Fiction
Shattered Glass
Slugfest scattered after Wheeljack's disastrous attack on Optimus Prime. Cliffjumper and Sideswipe tracked him down in an effort to keep the Dinobots out of the Autobots' hands. After a brief battle with Goryu, who was protecting Slugfest, the Decepticons added both Dinobots to their roster via restraining bolts and brain upgrades.
Slugfest was pleased with his new masters, but was relieved when Grimlock arrived to escort the captured Dinobots to a secret place. Dungeons & Dinobots
Starscream was worried when he didn't find Slugfest and Overkill in the Dinocon pens where they should have been. After a few moments of frantic searching, he discovered two octaltrack data cartridges. Starscream was taken aback when the cartridges transformed into the missing Dinocons. Upon further examination, Starscream and Bombshell discovered that all of the captured-and-reprogrammed Dinobots suddenly had embers and the ability to transform.
Soundwave took Slugfest and Overkill along with his usual complement of Recordicons when he boarded the Nemesis. Do Over

When Batbot was captured by Blackcat, Slugfest burst triumphantly through the wall to save the masked crime fighter. This somehow worked because "Slugfest am coolest." Recordicons #15 Slugfest was the drummer in Tape-Filled Idiots. Recordicons #25

- SG Soundwave vs SG Blaster (e-Hobby, 2013)
- "SG Slugfest" comes in a boxed versus set which also includes SG Soundwave, SG Ratbat, SG Blaster, SG Rewind, SG Ramhorn, and Solarbot, as well as a 12-page comic. Redecoed from the original Slugfest, SG Slugfest can be completed with stickers from the bonus sticker sheet which include a "DINOCON" logo and a restraining bolt.
Notes
- Slugfest is based on the original Slugfest toy, but perhaps with Grand Slam's colors.
- Slugfest's appearance in Recordicons is, of course, based on Robin as a foil to Ratbat's Batman.
