Final 1.6 Draft on March 2nd

As many of you may have noticed, CS:GO has begun to take over the Counter-Strike scene. While we will be hosting CS:GO events in the near future, we felt that CS 1.6 was due a proper send off. This upcoming Draft will be the last CS 1.6 event that we host at Lethal Gamers, so let's go out with a bang!

The event will be on March 2nd. Registration will open very soon.

This event is special. It does not require you to have a team, so you don't have to worry about your set five showing up. You show up with yourself and your gear and you get ready to play. The top players in the event will be set as captains and the players are then drafted to teams.

This is an event you do not want to miss. Whether you are looking to get your name out in the LAN scene, trying to find a team, or just want to have fun, this event if for you. If you ask many of the pros today, they would tell you to go to your local LANS and prove yourself. This is a way for you to find a team for upcoming LG Team events, or even other LAN events across the nation.

The rules are simple and are made to make this a fun and enjoyable event.

Rules:

1. All players sign up as individuals.
2. The day of the draft, LG will determine the top players and will assign them the role of captain.
3. The pick order of the captains will be decided randomly. Each captain will choose one player until all the players have been chosen.
4. We will use the snake format of drafting - 1->2->3->4->4->3->2->1.
This will ensure that the teams will remain even.
5. Once the draft portion is finished we will play a normal format of LG. Group Play then Double Elimination.
6. Prizes works the same way as a normal LG, cash and sponsored prizes.
7. All picks are FINAL, you will not be able to trade players or picks.

All other rules are that of a normal LG event.

The cost of the event will be $20 per person if you prepay, and you are required to bring your own headset, keyboard, mousepad, and mouse. Some equipment may be available for rental. Those who choose to pay at the door will pay $25 and those who choose to not sign up, but still want to play, will pay $30 (the regulars!).

This is sure to be an exciting event with lots of fun match ups!

Lethal Gamers April Draft

The tournament will take place on Saturday, April 14th, in Dallas, Texas. The event is open to anyone and everyone, no matter your skill level.

This event is different from normal team tournaments for the fact that you sign up as an individual person. You do not need a team and you won't have to worry about making sure your teammates are on time or show up. You bring yourself and your gear and get ready to game!

You might  be wondering what a "DRAFT" is, so I'll fill you in on the details. Out of every player that signs up individually, the top players are selected to be the captains of the teams. Once the captains are selected, they use a snake draft to choose their teams. Once the teams have been formed, it's game on!

This is an event you do not want to miss. Whether you are looking to get your name out in the LAN scene, trying to find a team, or just want to have fun, this event if for you. If you were to ask many of the ESEA-Invite players today, they will suggest playing at a LAN tournament is one of the best ways to get better! This is also a great way to meet new people in the area for future events and online leagues! Also, many of the captains are current ESEA-Invite players, or top ESEA-Main players, so learning as you play is almost inevitable.

The rules are simple and are made to make this a fun and enjoyable event.
