Hope For the Future

It's all to easy to feel pessimistic about the world, but here are three trends that make me hopeful about the future.

2014 was a rough year. A lot happened in our world that made it easy to feel pessimistic about the future. In fact we’ve reached a stage where reality has caught up to our dystopian science fiction. Maybe that’s why young adult dystopian sci-fi is so popular right now: it describes the world teens see around them.

Nonetheless, I’d like to focus on a few trends that make me feel hopeful for the future. I look forward to what they will do for us as a species in 2015 and beyond.
