Christopher is the Chief Executive Officer of Flat World. With more than 15 years experience in higher education and technology, Christopher has held leadership roles at some of the most innovative organizations serving the education market. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Blackboard Inc. (formerly Presidium Inc.), responsible for strategy, technology and consulting for emerging education services business.

James is an accomplished entrepreneur who leads numerous corporate initiatives at Flat World, including growth management, marketing and strategic partnerships. He has over 15 years experience in policy, communications and ed tech. Prior to Flat World, James co-founded Presidium Inc., a leader in student lifecycle services and technology. He has held senior business development positions at Blackboard, Young and Rubicam and Citigroup. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Achievement Prep, one of the nations highest performing public charter schools; and at Opentec, a Mexico City-based cloud computing services provider.

As Flat World’s Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy, Noah oversees the operations of Flat World including finance, strategy and human resources. Prior to Flat World, Noah served as a Managing Director at the Education Advisory Board where he was responsible for launching and growing several new software and advisory businesses serving higher education executives. He has also held positions at M&T Bank, Deloitte Consulting and CEB. He frequently speaks at higher education conferences on issues related to university economics and management.

Sunil has over 17 years of experience in the software industry and has held a variety of technical and management positions in companies ranging from startups to larger corporations. In his most recent position as Vice President of Engineering at SAP/SuccessFactors, Sunil was directly responsible for managing the engineering team of the SuccessFactors Learning product — an industry-leading cloud-based corporate LMS solution with over 16 million users across the globe.

With over 10 years in higher education, Patrick brings experience and perspective to the Flat World business development team. Starting his career at Presidium Inc., he developed the skills to handle difficult situations in a customer-centric way. He later moved on to become a Senior Account Executive at Blackboard where he was able to help strategically manage Blackboard’s largest partnerships. Additionally, Patrick is an active follower of industry events centered on innovation in higher education.

Dan leads our technology, hosting and technical operations. Throughout his 25 years of experience in the technology and financial fields, Dan has developed, launched and managed websites of major organizations such as J.Crew, ADP and AXA Financial. His combination of product-focus and deep technical skills have helped ensure his technology projects deliver innovative solutions of high value to customers. Using a variety of software development methodologies, Dan demonstrates that flexibility and strong partnership with the customer are the biggest factors in delivering a successful product.

Greg leads the design and implementation of our learning platform. Prior to joining Flat World, Greg led Pearson’s efforts to develop content repository technology to manage and distribute its digital assets. He also managed Pearson’s content management consulting practice that designed high stakes content distribution platforms for state departments of education and university systems. Previously, Greg led Blackboard’s domestic higher education consulting practice, helping the organization grow to over 100 employees.

Caroline brings 12 years of experience in education to Flat World, including classroom teaching and instructional design. She is dedicated to creating engaging and story-driven learning experiences and has worked on multiple rich, experiential learning programs for healthcare, government, corporate and non-profit audiences. Key projects include improving the patient experience across Army Medicine, conducting a needs assessment for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, developing hospitality training programs with the Walt Disney Company and facilitating story design sessions for multiple government endeavors.
