79cm Snow Storm hits Banff-Lake Louise – Biggest storm of the season to date!

March has kicked off with a bang in Banff-Lake Louise with 79cm of Canadian Rockies powder in 72 hours! The skiing has been absolutely incredible, with snow-covered beards and big smiles to be found everywhere at Mt Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village!

This snowstorm has set us up for an amazing spring season in Banff-Lake Louise. With a 2 metre base and more snow in the forecast, we are anticipating plenty more big powder days to come! We are open for skiing and snowboarding right through to the May long weekend, so there’s still plenty of time to come visit us in Canada’s Protected Playground, Banff National Park.
