Tim Sevenhuysen is a husband, a father, a market researcher, an amateur magician, and an author. He holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the University of Victoria.

On April 30, 2011, Tim married Larissa. It was the best decision he’s ever made. On April 13, 2012, their first child, Calvin William, was born. Victor James, their second son, joined the family on October 24, 2013.

Tim curates the world’s largest collection of 50-word stories at FiftyWordStories.com, self-publishes fiction online through the TimSevenhuysen.com Store, and maintains an online serialized web fiction project called Special People which is currently on hiatus.

From 2008 to 2010, Tim was involved with LoadingReadyRun, an online sketch comedy group.
