APL: Organic Electronics and Photonics includes the subset of articles from Applied Physics Letters that directly deal with, or have important implications for, organic electronics and photonics. Relevant articles will appear both in that journal and in APL:Organic Electronics and Photonics.

Applied Physics Reviews (APR) was a key component of Journal of Applied Physics, but is now being published independently of its parent journal in January 2014 due to its success. Due to its success, Applied Physics Reviews is now being published independently of its parent journal Journal of Applied Physics starting January 2014.

Biomicrofluidics is an online-only journal from AIP Publishing designed to rapidly disseminate research that elucidates fundamental physicochemical mechanisms associated with microfluidic, nanofluidic, and molecular/cellular biophysical phenomena in addition to novel microfluidic and nanofluidic techniques for diagnostic, medical, biological, pharmaceutical, environmental, and chemical applications. Rapid turnaround, multimedia capability, and wide circulation among academic, national, and industrial laboratories are the main features offered by the journal. Computers in Physics was published from 1987 until the end of 1998. At the beginning of 1999 CIP was merged with IEEE Computational Science & Engineering to create the bimonthly magazine: Computing in Science and Engineering. Computing in Science and Engineering is a joint publication of the American Institute of Physics and IEEE Computer Society.
