The Team
Us
PrettyGreen is made up of a good-looking bunch of world-class creative marketing and media specialists who all come together to make the magic happen. An eclectic gang with a variety of passions… have a read about us here
-
Charlie
The House Pet
Has a love of flies and changing things around. Gets particularly upset when he’s called a lizard, when everyone actually knows he’s a chameleon.
-
Mark Stringer
Founder
Mark founded PrettyGreen 4th July 2008 as a way of fulfilling his entrepreneurial dream of helping create and own new brands and after being convinced by one particular Client that it would be fun (as well as realising that he wasn’t quite ready to retire).
With over 15 years of Client and Agency experience, an integrated thinker, who’s not bad at coming up with an idea or two. As well as setting up PrettyGreen, he sits on the Board of C4 Britdoc, is a judge for PRCA and PR Week Awards and sits on the PRCA Council. He is also a founder and Director of Metropolitan Spirits, where he has helped create and is in the process of launching La Maison Fontaine (a new Ultra Premium Absinthe).
He was once a school high jump champion (but he was 9).
If you fancy following his ramblings he can be found on Twitter StringsLondon
-
Wendy Stringer
Head of Brand & Operations
Wendy started off her career in Account Management, heading up Clients like Levi’s, Converse and Coca-Cola, before moving into a Brand Director role. Responsible for HR, Finance, Office and brand development, she’s particularly loved at payday.
She once seduced a Director at her old company, but is happy to admit that he since became her husband and the father of her three children.
-
Emma Grace
Joint Managing Director
Emma has been at PrettyGreen since the company was born and now helps rule the roost alongside Jessica Hargreaves in her role as Joint Managing Director. Having worked in PR for over 14 years, Emma has planned and implemented a vast array of communications Campaigns for a variety of leading FMCG, lifestyle and entertainment Brands. Her mantra is that even the seemingly dull can fuel a conversation if the idea is brilliant enough (no brand snobbery here!).
Career highlights include far too many to mention, career low points however include pretending to be a cleaner (complete with tabard & marigolds) for a Client as part of an Evening Standard case study…a full page no less, anything in the name of coverage!
-
Jessica Hargreaves
Joint Managing Director
Jess heads up our integrated services for Clients – making sure that we create outstanding Campaigns that can work across multiple communication channels. With 15 years experience across blue-chip, FMCG, retail and film her number one goal is to always deliver ROI.
As a Geordie, who started her career in the pub trade, she brings a level of groundedness to PrettyGreen as Joint Managing Director with Emma Grace and her love of spreadsheets is only surpassed by her love of Christmas, where planning starts in late Spring.
-
Sian Baker
Board Director (New Ventures & Special Projects)
The greenest of all at PrettyGreen, our very own Captain Planet Sian started her career in music, even stating her own label, Pure Mint.
Moving to Making Waves, Sian throughly enjoyed the benefits of working across Malibu, Cuervo, Sourz, Unite and Aftershock before joining Lunch Communications to manage events in the UK and across Europe.
After a year in Oz, enjoying the sun, sand and surfers, Sian returned to the UK to become Head of Events, working across Cadbury 2012 and growing the Pretty Green events offering.
Also a fitness instructor, Sian can do 100 press-ups in a minute (even whilst saving the planet.)
-
Tim Beer
Finance Director
With over 20 years experience working in various Finance capacities for London ad agencies, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to this vibrant growing company. His IT skills should keep the company network running smoothly and his unhealthy interest in the UK tax system is causing some raised eyebrows.
Tim has a very keen interest in cricket (playing, organising and watching), football, golf, skiing and cycling. He can often be seen charging over the Surrey Downs on his Roubaix, and still competes in a 5-a-side football league against lads half his age!
-
Debbie Longmuir
Finance Manager
A long term lover of calculators, exchange rates and credit checks, Debs has worked her financial magic at several above and below the line agencies throughout her career – including Mother, Wunderman, Evoke, Communications Practice and Mercier Grey before landing at PrettyGreen.
A financial controller with style, Debs holds on to our purse strings and keeps the rest of the agency firmly in check… a word to the wise, if you haven’t raised that PO, she won’t be held accountable for her actions!
When not counting the pennies with an unrivalled precision, she is most likely to be found drinking earl grey tea, bopping along to her beloved eighties music, wearing flip flops in the rain and screaming about Spurs until she’s blue in the face – this is one lady who never does red.

Lynsey Keyes
Group Account Director
Lynsey’s agency life began 12 years ago in the midlands in retail promotions until she found it a little dull and crossed over into brand strategy working with way more exciting entertainment and lifestyle brands. A fair stint at Exposure led to multi-discipline, integrated work delivering a heap of award winning campaigns for Virgin Trains, LG Mobile, Symantec,The Prostate Cancer Charity plus the strategic repositioning of Jacques Cider for Heineken UK and a full through-the-line campaign including the immensely popular ultimate girly haven, The Jacques Townhouse.
A client-servicing expert (which basically means she loves people) Lynsey’s role at PrettyGreen is born from a recognition that Digital should be at the heart of every Comms campaign, thus she drives the digital agenda across all teams, and for every campaign.
She’s a qualified massage therapist, ex-stage performer, dancer of 20 years and adrenalin addict, who’s always on the look out for new challenges and something to top climbing Kilimanjaro a few years ago.
-
Kate Morrison
Events Client Services Director
Kate started her career many years ago as a WWF Panda bear roaming shopping centres across NZ, but has long since hung up her animal suit and moved 10,000 miles to work behind the scenes – now heading up the Events Team at PrettyGreen.
With over 13 years delivering large & small-scale events across the globe for alcohol, retail, charity & FMCG clients, Kate is an experienced team leader who believes in nurturing and developing great talent. Career highlights include delivering Strongbow music experiences across 20 festivals in the UK, watching the sun come up at a J&B party in Cancun & getting her name in the Guinness World Record books for Hula Hooping for a whole 3 minutes for Sport Relief (with 1000 other people).
A kiwi, who has apparently lost her accent, Kate still amuses when asking for a ‘pen’ and is a budding wine-geek, in an attempt to try to bond with her wine-maker dad.
-
Sarah Henderson
Group Account Director
Sarah joined PrettyGreen at the beginning of 2011 to look after the PR element of the Cadbury London 2012 Olympic sponsorship. Aside from all things Olympic (and chocolate) related, she has created and run Campaigns at PrettyGreen for the likes of EA Games, Virgin Media, Magners and Gaymers.
Life in the world of PR over the last ten years has included everything from spending 17 days in a field during the Olympics, to co-ordinating BlackBerry’s sponsorship of London Fashion Week for four seasons, spending eight hours watching a former Pussycat Doll get body-painted into a computer game character and installing real-life human weights at Gymbox.
When she’s not at PG towers, Sarah can be found obsessing over Take That, Grey’s Anatomy, Diet Coke and West Ham United.
-
Lucy Mart
Head of Sport
Lucy joins PrettyGreen with eight years of sport sponsorship and PR experience and having worked across no less than 38 different sports… who’s counting?
Lucy’s PR career was first crafted in the world of luxury travel before she was tempted away from the glamour of 5* hotels by the chants of the terraces to deliver T-Mobile’s football sponsorships for Euro 2004 and 2006 FIFA World Cup. Since then, Lucy has managed campaigns for brands big and small including PUMA, Vodafone and Greene King IPA as well as Olympic campaigns for sponsors and London 2012.
Heading up the PrettyGreen sport team, Lucy joins from Edelman where she led the London sports practice.
Lucy was 200m county champion at school. Nowadays Lucy plays netball and prefers jogging to sprinting.
-
Ben Knight
Account Director
Whether it’s in a festival field, a production warehouse or brainstorming at PrettyGreen towers, Essex-boy Ben has a passion for building impactful experiential Campaigns.
After seven years on the road managing Events all over the UK, Ben joined PrettyGreen. He’s spent the last three years delivering Campaigns for Cadbury 2012, Under Armour and Betfair.Ben’s great love of sport has meant that his ultimate PrettyGreen highlight had to be working on the amazing London 2012 Olympics but as an 80’s child, he’s also enjoyed being put in a headlock by strongman Geoff Capes and a big birthday hug from Kriss Akabusi.
When not at PrettyGreen, Ben can be found on the golf course, watching his beloved West Ham or in his kitchen trying to be the next Jamie Oliver.

Claire MacDonald
Senior Account Manager
Claire joined the consumer team in 2010 and has since delivered successful campaigns, events and stunts for many of PrettyGreen’s clients – including Nando’s, Cadbury Dairy Milk and BBC Children in Need.
With a wealth of experience working closely with FMCG, blue chip and challenger brands, Claire’s days in the PrettyGreen office have seen her planning press trips, looking after celebrities, jostling for space in photographer pits and reading a lot of MailOnline.
When not in the office, Claire is a keen singer, wannabe chef and avid watcher of trashy TV.

Kylie Black
Senior Account Manager
After graduating with a degree in Pyschology, Kylie decided to put her highly tuned organisational skills to good use and pursue a career in Events.
Swapping her Essex homeland for the bright lights of London, Kylie landed a role at Candour Marketing where she became immersed in the world of Experiential Marketing, working on projects for the likes of Audi, Kimberley Clark, Coke and Peugeot. Kylie then moved to iD Experiential where she managed promotional Campaigns for numerous Brands including FMCG giants Britvic and Nestlé.
Since joining the PrettyGreen Events team, Kylie has worked on a number of amazing projects and counts the Cadbury London 2012 Campaign as her personal favourite.
When she’s not making spreadsheets or running around Event sites, Kylie can most likely be found on a softball field or cheering on her beloved Spurs.
-
Katie Hunter
Account Director
Since starting out in PR fresh out of Leeds University five years ago, Katie cut her teeth in beauty and lifestyle PR before moving into music. Over the years Katie has worked across Big Brand Clients including John Frieda and Neal’s Yard Remedies as well as independent music labels and promoters like Deadly People and Late Night Tales. After two years as part of the PrettyGreen gang, Katie now works across culture projects and our consumer accounts.
A not-so-closeted metal fan, the more dingy the bar the better but there’s always time for some UK garage and shameless singsongs to Fleetwood Mac. Out of office hours, you can catch up with her on a blog for London make-up brand Rimmel writing about all things London.

Jack Swallow
Account Manager
After graduating from Westminster University in 2009, Jack knew that a job in psychology was unlikely and that it was time to find his own way. Starting with several small jobs he jumped into the social scene organising successful club nights, Events and DJing.
A succession of internships at record labels and music PR companies, late nights from DJing, early mornings at various bar jobs, lead to the decision that it was time to pursue something steadier. After a week helping out at PrettyGreen towers, the move to greener pastures was an easy choice.
As part of PrettyGreen, Jack initially worked across the Red Bull, Nando’s, Cadbury, La Maison Fontaine and Gaymers account as well as touring the country in a big white van for eight weeks, supporting the Events team through the Cadbury Olympic activity. This temporary posting with the Events team has now lead to a full time role working across all of PrettyGreen’s ‘Experience’ offering.

Bea Chew
Account Manager
Bea worked in various industries spanning law, real estate, merchandising and Events before happily settling down to work on the Consumer PR team at PrettyGreen in 2011. After travelling across South America and South East Asia she realised her passion and expertise lay in communication and language. Bea has now used her skills to work on Cadbury, Nando’s, EA Games, Pretty Polly and London MexFest.
Despite the serious law degree background, she loves gin, Michael Jackson, buying records, the sun and attempting to speak Spanish. Not necessarily in that order.
-
Lucy Porter
Head of Digital
After working in the TV industry for a couple of years helping coordinate cartoons for Disney, Lucy quickly realised that she spent far too many hours on the internet and landed a job in online PR. She hasn’t looked back, and now spends her days surfing Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, all in the name of her digital clients of course.
Hailing from a consumer technology background at Ketchum, Lucy has worked on digital campaigns for Sony Europe, Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Kodak and Baileys Irish Creme, and got a taste for even more consumer brands at Hill + Knowlton where she worked on Dairylea, Carte Noire Coffee, TUI travel and Macmillan Cancer Support, among others.
At PrettyGreen Lucy loves nothing more than getting stuck into an influencer audit for Under Armour, overseeing the community management of 1.3 million Facebook fans for Nando’s, or trying out the latest social media tool in the office.
After performing in the London Olympic Opening Ceremony in 2012, Lucy now spends her free time planning her next US road trip and obsessing over anything Lego-related. -
Leigh Ireland
Account Director
Leigh digressed from early aspirations of becoming a journalist (and before that a physio) to take the plunge into the world of marketing and sponsorship with his Sport Studies degree. After gaining experience with Pitch and then Capitalize, he joined the PrettyGreen Sport and Consumer team to work with his beloved Tottenham Hotspur FC, through key Client, Under Armour.
Having worked on an array of sports from taekwondo, squash and water polo to cricket and sailing in his five years in the industry, he is now enjoying turning his hand to the more mainstream challenges presented by football and rugby sponsorships. His favourite working experience to-date was watching former HTC-Highroad super sprinter Mark Cavendish fly over the Tour de France finish line, demolishing the world’s top cyclists in the process.
If he isn’t at his desk, he is likely to be found visiting some of the wilder places in the world. Either that or on a court, pitch or climbing wall.

Emily Koppit
Account Manager
Essex girl Emily joined PrettyGreen as an office runner fresh out of Sussex Uni back in September 2013. She has a passion to organise and loves ticking off a good old fashioned pen and paper list. Emily also adds some real creative flair to the events team with ideas that sit on the edge of the ridiculous and down right brilliant.
When not in the office Emily can be found with her head buried in a good book or curled up on the sofa watching her beloved Mad Men. She can also be seen on dance floors throughout East London pulling out some 80s MC Hammer running man moves.
-
James Hartnett
Account Executive
Having graduated from Bournemouth as a multimedia journalist, London boy James fulfilled early ambitions to simultaneously become a sports and men’s lifestyle journalist whilst working at Loaded Magazine.
By 2013, he’d turned to ‘the dark side’ and, after a short stint at Frank PR, was taken under PrettyGreen’s wing where he now works on all things Under Armour, Deezer and smart.
Sports-obsessed, when not misplacing volleys on the tennis court or sat in the bike saddle he’ll be cheering on his beloved Spurs, hoping Leeds United’s glory days return, or wondering if Miami Dolphins will ever regain Super Bowl supremacy.

Faye Neighbour
Front of House
Faye has worked over 15 years within the PR industry including here at our very own PrettyGreen.

There is not much that Faye won’t be able to help you with and her background knowledge means she understands the business from all levels.
Always ready to help and a friendly face waiting to greet you, Faye has an eye for all things that look nice and will sprinkle her magic touch to make our office chic and sleek. With a passion for sport, fashion and interiors and a cheeky weakness for a fine wine there is always a wealth of knowledge or a background story she can tell.

Rhea Werner-Cheshire
Account Executive
Rhea is half English, half German but grew up in southern Spain; she also spent 3 years of her childhood in France and has spent time working in both Germany and Dubai.
Fresh out of University, (with a 2:1 in Media Studies) she’s walked away with some great work placements under her belt including an internship at BBH advertising, 12 months with L’Oreal and a placement with Esquire magazine Middle East, amongst others. Now the time has come to choose her path and it seems PR is where her passion lies.
Rhea is a huge animal lover, with six rescue dogs back home in Spain; she also loves to cook, eat lots of cheese and drink wine – not necessarily in that order!
-
Susie Richardson
Talent Liaison Director
A friend of PrettyGreen since day dot, Susie heads up the Influencer and Talent division.
A natural networker with a huge little black book, Susie makes friends everywhere, although did risk an international security alert after leaving Mikhail Gorbachev’s 80th birthday party, with Gorby’s £25,000 birthday present (it wasn’t a goody bag).
When not arranging couriers to Moscow, Susie has many loves including Ibiza, bar snacks, Take That (the early years), Champagne and her beloved Preston North End.
-
Chris Grabowski
Creative Director - Communications
Chris is old and new, joining us in 2014 as Creative Director. He was here previously as an AD working on Cadbury, Nando’s and EA before heading off for a two year tour of London PR agencies. Deciding that the grass doesn’t get any greener he returned to the hallowed turf of PrettyGreen and now looks after the agencies creative offering whilst helping out on the very occasional day-to-day issue. Prior and between working here he managed a number of blue chip and FMCG brands including; Barclays, Bacardi, BMW, Buxton and others that don’t begin with the letter ‘B’.
-
Bianca Daisy
Account Executive
Bianca is delighted to now be part of the Pretty Green team. Hailing from North Yorkshire she has lived in London for years and refuses to live anywhere but North London – I guess she just likes the North!
She has a degree in Criminology and Psychology, and an Acting Diploma, which all come in handy when working in a busy office – any drama cannot phase her! Bianca has a long-standing career working as an office administrator/receptionist and is delighted to now put her skills to use at PrettyGreen.
Bianca also volunteers at a youth theatre teaching young people drama and helping to put on shows. She has a talent for hip hop karaoke and an unexplained talent for being able to name most breeds of dog. She also loves embroidery and wearing black. A trained dancer as well, she particularly enjoys to dance around her flat whilst drinking a refreshing gin and tonic.
-
Kezia Anim-Addo
Senior Account Director
Kezia joined Pretty Green in 2014 to drive the PR for Nandos, Virgin Media and Sound United. With close to 10 years experience in PR Kezia has developed and led on high profile campaigns across local and international markets in a number of sectors including consumer lifestyle, FMCG, consumer technology and NGO.
Naturally, working in PR Kezia has been involved in everything from the weird and wonderful and on occasion the downright random…everything from leading a press trip in the villages of Mali with award winning UK actress Thandie Newton to having to cart a giant Monopoly Cat through the streets of London, not to mention being involved in the UN Climate Change Summit where she worked alongside supermodel Helena Christensen and Grammy award artist Angelique Kidjo.
When not at Pretty Green Towers, Kezia loves nothing more than to travel to far flung locations (she speaks two languages fluently and can just about get by on a third!)
-
Emma Wills
Senior Account Executive
After graduating from the University of Brighton (with a 1st in English Language), Emma set her sights on the fast-paced world of the media. So far in her PR career, Emma has worked for a number of challenger and blue-chip brands including L’Oreal, Dunelm, Mothercare ,Warner Leisure Hotels and Hotels.com.
Fast-forward two and a half years and with plenty of experience across digital and traditional media relations (highlights include securing a prime time slot on This Morning and a personal call from Jane McDonald) Emma’s PR journey has brought her to vibrant pastures of PrettyGreen.
In her spare time, Emma is a fashion and beauty obsessive and has dabbled with the idea of becoming a part time fashion blogger. At weekends, you’ll most likely find her in the gym doing some form of strength training or escaping to the country to spend time with her Ragdoll cats, Tiki and Taniwha and pet tortoise Jon Jon.
-
Mike Flatley
Finance Manager
Mike came to PrettyGreen to help out for a few days in the summer of 2012. Two years later and he’s still here. Mainly because it’s a good deal more interesting than insurance and he’s also still chasing folks to complete their time sheets. He can’t get enough of financial reporting and has a love/hate relationship with Excel.
When not dealing with numbers, he enjoys photography, watching rugby league and wheat beers (drinking, not watching). And when he can escape to the hills, Mike loves mountain biking and hill-walking.
-
Emma Skipper
Digital Account Director
Emma’s career was born on the web and grew up creating content. She started out as a journalist, editing an online magazine and beauty blog, but quickly realised her passion was far more sinister than just writing copy, she wanted to control it too… so she took up coding and started designing websites and consulting on branding and digital strategy for the likes of Thandie Newton and Bordeaux Wines.
After a sabbatical around South East Asia in 2014, Emma returned to the UK, broke into the PrettyGreen offices and has refused to leave since… So we gave her a computer to make herself useful in the Digital team. Her Love will always be tech and the ever evolving digital landscape… however if you ever needed to find her out of office hours she would either be drinking whiskey sours, playing hockey (not together) or taking slo-mo videos of her sausage dog Lulu.
-
Jade Lancashire
Senior Account Manager
After completing a business degree and an internship at Warner Brothers, Jade decided that one whole year sat behind a desk justified an 18 month long break. So she packed up her (very small) bag and rambled aimlessly around Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands and America, where she primarily gained weight and took too many selfies.
After crash landing back in the UK very tanned and slightly plumper, Jade landed a job in TV publicity working at Talkback Thames on programmes such as The X Factor. The TV work continued as she went to Channel 4 and then eventually to BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1 Xtra where she learnt how to rap and dance the dutty wind.
When not in the office, Jade stretches the social boundaries around how much one person can obsess over dogs and is vigorously campaigning for an office puppy (with no avail.) She is also an avid collector of air miles and loves a bit of Bikram yoga (yes.. the sweaty, smelly kind).
-
Ella Holbrook
Account Executive
Having just graduated with a degree in French from the University of Nottingham, Ella packed her bags and did the big move to London. After a year of living in Paris in 2012, working for both Media studio company Abel14 and at top fashion labels such as Acne and Dior (ooh lala!), she got a taste of working in a high-paced and event-filled environment, and knew that this was something she wanted to pursue.
Starting at PrettyGreen was exactly the company she had in mind, and being an eager performer at school, it provides the perfect stage for her. By getting actively involved in events, whether that be dominating a megaphone during fitness workouts, or acting for clients at a party, Ella enjoys getting in the role, to make sure any event is fun and enjoyable.
Her aim is to expand her experience with a wide spectrum of brands, having thus far worked on events for John Lewis, UnderArmour, giffgaff and Pandora. Although Ella is a born and bred Bristol girl, she is no doubtedly recognised (and scrutinised) by her ‘posho’ accent. (She still wears a scrunchy though…)
-
Nicola Hunter
Front of House
Having graduated university with a degree in Art, Nicola trained as a Hairdresser in central London. However, after deciding standing up all day wasn’t for her, she joined PrettyGreen to sit down on front of house. Aside from being a key player in the PrettyGreen Hunter family invasion, she can be found jazzing up the notice boards in Reception and is always ready and willing to help.
Despite being one of those people that talks about her dog like it’s a child, she maintains a largely rum based social life and has a lot of time for a power ballad… she’s not even sorry.
-
Dan Green
Designer
Helping to bring a visual eye to the team, Dan is PrettyGreen’s in house Creative. After graduating University, he moved to the big city with his 6 best friends to pursue his career as a graphic designer. He spent a while as a freelance designer which led to some really great opportunities such as being commissioned as an Illustrator in his first published book. He eventually landed at PrettyGreen and hit the ground running, helping out the team over a spectrum of briefs and clients. When not staring aimlessly at his giant computer screen he can be found in his homeland of Essex, or listening to some live music somewhere in London. Dan loves to spend time hanging out with his girlfriend or best mates, finding new and exciting places to eat, drink, or be merry. If he was any more laid-back, he’d be lying down.
-
James Mott
Account Director
Originating from the North East / North Yorkshire border, James has been in the London agency world for sometime with a background in activating TTL campaigns for the likes of Coca-Cola, Uniqlo and Jack Wills. Most recently though things have got a little boozy with James heading up teams for Whyte & Mackay, Diageo and Bacardi Brown-Forman brands. Joining PrettyGreen in November 2014, James’ focus is to bring a more integrated approach to client delivery.
Out of the office James likes to play a few records here and there and pledges his footballing allegiances to the mighty Boro.
-
Sam Stocking
Content & Creative Services Director
With over 20 years of experience working in many fields of advertising and design, Sam has brought a unique set of skills to PrettyGreen. Producing great work for lots of different companies and brands, he has made just about all there is to make in the world of advertising and marketing, though his greatest passion is in making films.
Sam is now putting his skills to use heading up the Creative Department working alongside our pool of talented creatives. With all the experience he’s gained along the way, he knows how to examine a brief and determine what, how and who it takes to deliver the right solution.
