Registration & AccommodationHere you could find information and links to register for the conference and the conference dinner, buy a train ticket, or book a hotel. Please read these guidelines to make your registration quick and simple:
Registration linksRegistration or hotel bookings are no longer possible. General informationRegistration feesThe registration fee includes admission to presentations, poster receptions and the exhibition, as well as daily coffee breaks. It does not cover lunches or the conference dinner. With your hotel booking all public transport in and around Davos is free of charge.
*A non-refundable abstract handling fee of 30.-CHF applies to all abstract submissions, regardless of registration. CancellationParticipants were able to withdraw their registration with a written notice sent prior to 31 May 2013. All refunds were subject to a 100.-CHF administration fee. No refunds after 1 June 2013. Social activitiesTake the chance to book further activities, from culture to sightseeing and science. Social activities will be held on the Sunday before and the Saturday after the conference. It will be possible to visit two research institutes in Davos (WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF and Physikalisch-Meteorologisches Observatorium Davos and World Radiation Center PMOD/WRC); registration for the institute visits will be open during the conference. Participants could choose between a number of excursions or trips, for example to the famous Kirchner Art Museum or to St. Moritz with the Rhaetian Railways. Conference DinnerThe conference dinner was held on Thursday, 11 July in the congress building. Vouchers cost 60.-CHF and include an apéro and an excellent three course meal, as well as entertainment.

Letter of recommendationAn official letter of invitation could be ordered by any attendee making such a request. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential attendees obtain travel funds or a visa. The letter does not constitute any financial commitment on the part of the conference. |
