Registration & Accommodation

Here you could find information and links to register for the conference and the conference dinner, buy a train ticket, or book a hotel.

Please read these guidelines to make your registration quick and simple:

  • We negotiated very good hotel rates for DACA-13 participants, benefit by booking your hotel through the booking system linked below (room category is standard).
  • Train tickets booked through the registration platform are substantially cheaper than if you buy them at a travel agent or at the counter. The ticket will be sent to your address well in advance of your journey.
  • If you wish to book a double room for two people, make sure to enter the second person's name in the field for "Additional Participant" at the beginning of the booking system, the hotel list will include rates for double rooms then.
  • If you wish to book a room for you and your family, including children, list your partner as an Additional Participant and write your wish for a family room, a child bed or cot in the message box at the end of the booking process. You will receive an automatic reply for your overall booking, and a separate personal email regarding your message.
  • The registration fee for accompanying persons is 100 CHF, which includes admission for the whole week, the conference dinner on Thursday as well as coffee breaks. Tickets are available at the conference desk and do not need to be booked in advance.
  • Please be sure to choose either IACS or IAMAS as your association. You do not need to be a member or become one, this is simply for statistical reasons.
  • As with the abstract submission, please be sure to have your credit card details ready (including CVV-code and 3-D secure code) before starting your payment.
  • Here you can find a map of Davos showing the location of all the hotels that offer good rates through the booking system. If you wish to find a holiday flat rather than a hotel, please look here or send an email to info@davos.ch. Please note that we cannot offer special rates for holiday flats.
  • Check out our suggestions for guided tours and excursion further down, following the link Guided Tours and Trips.
  • General information on fees, cancellation policy, social activities and a letter of recommendation can be found below.
