good food great price
Was there last night with my husband. A very intimate restaurant. Only about 10 tables. You needed reservations for Valentine's night. I wasn't sure if this is for every night because the restaurant is so small but i assume so. Food was pretty good overall and prices were reasonable. They could really do something about their bathroom though. It's bringing down my review. The restaurant is beautiful besides the restrooms.

Quality above all
I can only say that I visit at least once a week and I've been doing this for at least a year. Besides Yamatos offering the best quality of food and value for lunch, the friendly service is way above the norm. I rate this one of the top 3 restaurants in Park Slope. Dinner is always excellent as well.

Good food, Great prices
For well made ample portions - Yamato is it. As a family choice it can sometimes be clamorous, but is otherwise a fine; both in ambiance and in decor. The Lunch menu is particularly charitable with most things under $10. Yes, the service is sometimes rushed and uneven, but the cuisine is worth it.
