New Look!

The Wesleyan University Events Calendar has a new interface and design.  AT A GLANCE  - the main page displays today's events, visually featured events at the top and ongoing events to the right. 

An interactive calendar at the top allows users to select dates as needed.  The search feature helps users find information quickly and reliably.  Filter events based on general groupings including Arts, Academics or Athletics or by selecting more, specific categories.  Update your personal calendar by selecting the download to ICS  icon. Subscribe to a daily RSS feed by selecting the RSS icon.  Google downloads will be available in the future.

Events Calendar Submission

Events are submitted by faculty, staff and students through the campus-wide event scheduling software, EMS Enterprise, Room Request (EMS) and are imported into the Wesleyan Events Calendar.  Each event is assigned one or multiple categories and additional event information is entered.  Schedulers and approvers review, approve and publish events to the calendar.

The Wesleyan Events Calendar is an in-house solution.  Information is fed from our current systems into the Wesleyan Events Calendar.  The presentation and design was inspired by Duke University's and Yale University's Events Calendars.
