Ismail Issa is one of the co-founders of Optimum and is currently the Director of Technology Solutions Business Unit of the company. Ismail has been working with Optimum team in different Technology Solutions projects in the fields of Mobile Applications, Web Applications, Web Designs, and E-Marketing as well as delivering trainings for different companies in various sectors.

He is currently working as an “Enterprise Content Management Technical Consultant” on a multi-national organization in UAE, Dubai named OneECM, which is one of the market leaders in Enterprise Content Management as well as Digital Asset Management Solutions in the EMEA region.

Before working at OneECM, Ismail worked at the top ranked Telecommunication Operator in the EMEA region "Etisalat Egypt" as a Systems Analyst, which was one of core the team members whom was responsible for the Activation, Billing, Rating & Provisioning activities of the telecommunication life cycle, this team plays a critical role to ensure the robustness and connectivity between the different parts of the telecommunication chain, starting from the CRM and Customer Care applications and ends to the Network backbone elements.

Before working at Etisalat Misr, Ismail worked at nWayz company as a Product Manager for the Arab Best Innovative Project Award winning solution MoCCA© Communication Suite. This platform is an innovative idea to integrate different telecom technologies to deliver most efficient, cost-effective or fastest delivery technologies for the data regardless of the format of the original information. He was responsible of the product development cycle starting from developing full business plan, building the internal capacity, performing sales and after sales activities and ending to supervising over the big picture of the technical aspects and technologies.

Before working in nWayz, Ismail worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ITWorx Egypt. He worked with ITWorx team in plenty projects in the MENA region & North America as well as well as architect, design and implement various software solutions starting from basic Blackberry B2B solutions, up to advanced Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration solutions.

In a later period of working at ITWorx, Ismail heavily engaged with both quality assurance team as well as internal architecture team to design the outline strategies for improving the quality of internal processes as well as client deliverables, while increasing the satisfaction level of the internal onsite/offshore team.

He also acted as an Engagement Associate in UAE for a high-profile governmental client in a strategic alliance project between Egypt & United Arab Emirates, in this period he was responsible for providing training, guidance and support as well as communication handling between the offshore and the onsite team.

As a freelancer, Ismail provided technical training in the sector of software engineering and software product development as well as providing private courses for pre-master students. He also had plenty of technical freelancing contributions with private banks, governmental organizations and industrial organizations. In addition, Ismail was the security director for Security Workshop at International Conference of Information Technology (ICIT) held at AUC annually for two years, this conference is responsible to provide a solid practical experience of networking, systems security and ethical hacking for talented students and IT professionals.

He is an active member in Egyptian Java User Group technical community, this beside the committed presence in different conferences and seminars held by technology leaders in software development by Sun Microsystems, IBM, Oracle and the open source community, and the founder of online entrepreneurship-oriented community Netprenure, which aims to provide feeds for start-ups community & entrepreneurs in Egypt.
