Alumna Jessica Naff promoted to flight surgeon in US Navy

2005 Appalachian State University alumna, Dr. Jessica L. Naff, was recently promoted to flight surgeon in the United State Navy.
Dr. Naff was recognized as an outstanding senior in 2005 by the Department of Chemistry. Upon graduating from Appalachian, she attended graduate school in Michigan and later attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She spent her residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, specializing in pediatric medicine.
Dr. Claudia Cartaya-Marin and the Department of Chemistry are very proud of her accomplishments and recent promotion.
