Jim Butcher's Changes, the 12th book in the Dresden Files series, debuted at the top of the hardcover list; A Mighty Fortress by David Weber took a close second. The new runner-up is A Conspiracy of Kings by Megan Whelan Turner (Greenwillow), out of 47 nominated titles, same as last month.

Steampunk novel Changeless by Gail Carriger just barely took first in paperbacks, ahead of Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris. Touched by an Alien by Gini Koch was the new runner-up (DAW), and there were 66 titles nominated, down from 73 last month.

Stalwart bestseller Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen & Seth Grahame-Smith led the trade paper list; the new runner-up was the reprint of first novel The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi (Night Shade). There were 48 titles nominated, same as last month.

Star Trek: Unspoken Truth by Margaret Wander Bonanno was first in media-related titles. Star Wars: Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor by Matthew Stover was the new runner-up, just missing the list; 18 titles were nominated, down from 20.

Four-title omnibus Warhammer 40:000: Gaunt's Ghosts: The Lost by Dan Abnett led the gaming-related list, and there was no new runner-up out of 18 nominated titles, same as last month.
