The bayou runs out from a large river that passes through the region. Unlike its parent river, the bayou's waters are very calm and still. Many water fowl and other water dwelling animals make their homes here. The bayou was named after a fellow named Gordlum who supposedly went to the waters everyday to admire his reflection. It is said in stories eventually he was consumed by the murky water, and often a glowing white spirit is seen by inhabitants roaming around the bayou.

This huge oak tree is blessed by the forest gods. Unlike other trees around it, it is pure white from roots to leaves. Usually every month, one of the gods will appear out of the oak and bless random creatures, sometimes leaving behind valuable items for any animals who show up to express their faith and love. The gods will only appear if there have been enough prayers sent to them, which can be done by simply visiting the tree.

Silent Wood is so named because once one enters, all hearing is lost until they leave. Two creatures entering the woods together wouldn't be able to hear each other talking. Senses such as sight and taste stay, but the loss of hearing while in the woods is known to drive the weak-minded absolutely crazy. Many predators lurk in the woods because it's easier to hunt when their prey no longer has hearing.

Stones big and small, mostly made of limestone, adorn the landscape here. Many look as if spiritual carvings were etched into them. The outcrops can be a very dangerous place for prey animals to linger. The huge rocks can easily conceal a hungry, lurking predator. Nonetheless, many stray here in hopes of finding the god Rottair. On occassion he is known to visit this sacred place.

This beautiful pond is named after the goddess Estreya. She is more of a social goddess who will visit the pond often to talk and share her wisdom. Creatures who visit the pond may only do so with peaceful intentions in mind. Otherwise, they'll face Estreya's wrath. The pond's waters are almost crystal clear, with lily pads floating on top and many different species of plants growing in or around the pond.

Arkose Meadow is a beautiful expanse of meadow where deer and predators alike can be found. The tantalizing allure of the grasses that grow almost all year 'round in this meadow is too much for the deer to resist. Likewise, the presence of the deer brings on the arrival of predators. The meadow is graced with tall grasses in most areas, that could easily hide a medium-sized deer, but some of the taller species can still be spotted. Jutting through the center of the meadow is a radius of Arkose, a sedimentary rock that has risen upward from the ground to six feet high. This radius is used mostly for a lookout post for the shorter deer who otherwise might not see hungry predators lurking nearby. It's also often considered a safe place for the younger deer to relax and play while their mothers graze.
