Her passions for print and digital media design and her skills in web design and photography allow her to utilize her talents on a wide range of projects. When she’s not busy working or presiding over AIGA Cleveland, Jamie enjoys practicing yoga, learning new skills and exploring different cities.

Jennifer Vokoun is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Walsh University in North Canton. She previously taught part-time at Kent State University and served as the Internship Coordinator for the Visual Communication Design department. Jennifer earned her BFA in Illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design and her MFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. She has over 20 years experience working in graphic design in the Cleveland area. Jennifer maintains a freelance business focused on creative work for area non-profits, with clients including Shaker Schools Foundation, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (formerly Young Audiences), and The Cleveland Orchestra.

Amy Peck, Assistant Professor and Chair of the Graphic Design department, has over 20 years of experience working in the graphic design field ranging from a small design studio, a large publication house and a nationally recognized advertising agency. Peck has worked for a wide range of clients including Nestlé, Wal-Mart, Goodyear, Kimberly-Clark, Interweave Press, Humana, University Hospitals, HOW Magazine and more. In May, 2012, she earned her MFA in Visual Communication Design and her Certificate in User Experience Design, from Kent State University. In the past seven years she has taught graphic design part-time at The University of Akron, Kent State University and Cleveland State University. In her spare time she likes to watch movies, sew, read, knit, and hang out with her 13-year-old twin boys, her husband and her dogs, Bianca and Chloe.

Working as a graphic designer at Blue Star Design, Taylor is given the opportunity to work in all different areas of design. Taylor graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design well equipped to take on any design challenges that may arise. Being able to learn, grow, and experience new things with AIGA and the design community of Cleveland, Taylor is excited to see what she can become as a designer. When Taylor is not hard at work, she enjoys black and white photography, exploring her new neighborhood of Lakewood, and spending time with family and friends.

A web and graphic designer from northeast Ohio. Derrick Boyd works on print and branding projects, but mostly designs and builds clean, responsive websites at Evolve Creative Group. A BFA graduate of the University of Akron, Derrick is experienced in things like web design, email marketing, front-end development and graphic design.

Sarah currently works as a graphic designer for Invacare Corporation where she oversees the global company’s corporate branding, advises on brand strategies, provides art direction and manages vendor relationships. With a BFA in visual communications from the American InterContinental University in London, Sarah is intrigued by anatomical drawings from the renaissance period and is currently obsessed with letterpress printing. When she’s not binge watching The Office on Netflix, she indulges her foodie alter ego, sampling new restaurants around town.

Katie Major is an award-winning graphic designer living in beautiful Cleveland, Ohio. Her work has been featured in books, magazines and several blogs. Katie works part-time as a graphic designer for American Greetings, she also teaches at several colleges in the Cleveland area and runs her own studio with Jasen Melnick called Fizz Creative. Outside of design, her passions are running, baking, visiting museums and playing with her cats: Caslon and Pica.
