We pride ourselves in sourcing the best coffees in the world. But here at the Excelsior Dunn Brothers, we know that the quality of the bean counts for nothing if it’s not roasted correctly. That’s because beans develop their aroma and flavor during the roasting process. The heat spurs complex chemical reactions in which proteins are broken down and aromatic oils are created. These water-soluble oils carry the flavors that you taste. Our certified master roasters tailor the roasting process to each individual bean variety. Couple that with the precise control that small batch roasting provides, and we are able to bring out the unique flavor qualities of every coffee we roast, giving you the most flavorful cup of coffee you can buy.
