We'll kick things off Mother's Day afternoon and take the notorious Rocket City Marathon Route from downtown Huntsville, to the scenic Ditto Landing at the Tennessee River. She unfortunately lost her life at the Mariposa Stage Race last year on Mother's Day (May 13, 2012). Join us Sunday and celebrate her life on a group ride. SDMBA has adopted the ride this year, with Tara as 2013's Vice President-elect, to make this a bigger and better event than last year (which had swag for all the ladies, followed by wine and chocolates to finish the ride) and to continue to push the participation of females in this sport.
