Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 4th Annual Los Angeles Food and Wine. Volunteers are truly the backbone of any event and your support is greatly appreciated. Over 300 dedicated individuals will make up the Volunteer Program for the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Beach Food & Wine. It is our goal to provide each volunteer with a positive experience during the event. In the spirit of charitable giving Los Angeles Food & Wine raised over $500,000 for the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels and the Share Our Strength programs here in Los Angeles, in the first three years of the event. Los Angeles Food & Wine is committed to furthering the cause of deserving charities. Your participation helps us make a much needed positive impact on the community.
If you have any questions for us along the way, please feel free to email Margo Daniels, Volunteer Coordinator, at: volunteer@coastalluxurymanagement.com. All volunteers will be required to wear the following attire: Black slacks or skirt/White plain crisp shirt (short sleeve or long but long sleeve must stay down and buttoned)/black polished business casual shoes. If you work a minimum of four shifts or two full days you will receive a ticket to one of the Grand Tastings on Saturday or Sunday. Please complete this form in its entirety and return it by July 28th, 2014. Volunteer positions are largely granted on a first-come, first-served basis and volunteer positions and/or specific committees may fill up prior to the date noted above. As a result, we urge you to submit your application as soon as possible. Committee Descriptions & Duties | |
| Please indicate your top preferences for your volunteer committee assignment. If selected as a volunteer, we will do our best to assign you to one of your four choices; however, some committees fill up quickly so you may be assigned to a committee that needs additional volunteers. Each volunteer will be required to work a minimum of four (4) shifts or 2 full days during this event. | |
| Thursday Marquee Event: | Thursday - Distribute wine to each wine tasting station/set-up each wine station/greeters/polishing glassware/handing out wine glasses/ handing out maps and directing guests/assisting with set up of each chef station/replenishing glassware and china throughout the evening /teardown |
| Directional Assist: | Direct people to Will Call for ticket pick up - send cars to correct parking areas. |
| Cooking Demos: | Two to Three sessions on Sat & Sun- set-up of room with handouts/amenities/greeters/security /teardown |

| Operations Set-Up: | Assisting with table & chair set-up, inventory deliveries, distributing product to different areas, hanging of signs in tents, placing signage out for parking/directional through the event |
| Culinary Assistants: | Assisting with culinary preparation, food receiving, inventory, distribution working with guest chefs as assigned. Professional Culinary experience or current enrollment in a culinary study program is REQUIRED. |
