HudsonSounds was launched in the spring of 2010 as a clearing house for information, discussion and promotion of the vast array of classical and contemporary music activity in the greater Capital Region of New York, including the upper Hudson Valley and The Berkshires.

The site features extensive concert listings, plus links to ensembles, venues and series. Our blogs are written by some of the leading forces in the local music scene. A CD store provides recommendations of the latest new releases and titles by local artists.

Show up at a concert, try out an opera at the movie theatre, or sample a new CD. Then join the discussion.
