EMC Society


The IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society is the world's largest organization dedicated to the development and distribution of information, tools and techniques for reducing electromagnetic interference.

 

The society's field of interest includes standards, measurement techniques and test procedures, instrumentation, equipment and systems characteristics, interference control techniques and components, education, computational analysis, and spectrum management, along with scientific, technical, industrial, professional or other activities that contribute to this field.

Topics & Transactions

IEEE/EMC Transactions can now be read online through the IEEE Xplore® system. They can be accessed by clicking HERE.


On the Xplore® page, select “What Can I Access? under the “Welcome to IEEE Xplore” option. You must have an IEEE web account to enter a username and password in order to access to the EMC Transactions.

2010 Interview of 3 Society Founders

EMC Founders War Stories
At the 2007 IEEE EMC Symposium in Honolulu, several founders of the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society gave their recollections of the founding and the early days of the EMC Sociey.
The 50th Anniversary Committee prepared a video celebrating the first 50 years of our society and historical events that have influenced the field of electromagnetic compatibility.
EMCS member interviews now available online
