The IEEE International Technology Management Conference (ITMC) included oral and discussion sessions; Short Courses given by experts in technology management topics; and special sessions organized around themes.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Milton Chang, Incubic Management
    Dr. Chang is an entrepreneur and investor. He was President/CEO of Newport Corporation and New Focus, Inc, which he subsequently took public. As an angel investor, he served on the boards of Uniphase (now JDSU) and 11 other startups that either went public or were acquired. He is the author of Toward Entrepreneurship: Establishing A Successful Technology Business The title of his address is "Learning from the Follies of the Venture Capital Process".

The conference will start with a video keynote speech by Dr. Geoffrey Moore, Silicon Valley author of many BEST SELLING books on technology management including Dealing with Darwin, Crossing the Chasm, Inside the Tornado, and others. Dealing with Darwin discusses concepts aligned well with the overall theme of IMTC 2011 - "Managing Technology in Challenging Times".
