Academics

When you come to the Questrom School of Business, you are working toward the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and your major is Business Administration and Management. SMG students are required to select a concentration from the ten managerial disciplines.

Boston University and the Questrom School of Business offer a number of academic opportunities for students to pursue in addition to the requirements of the Business Administration & Management major:

  • Students with a GPA of 3.00 or higher may apply to pursue two Bachelors degrees through the Dual Degree Program.
  • If you have a secondary area of academic interest, you may minor in another subject area in a school or college other than SMG.
  • You can study abroad, possibly completing an internship and developing knowledge of a culture different from your own, while still continuing to pursue your degree requirements.
  • If you have exhibited exceptional academic success, you may be invited to continue to challenge yourself through the Questrom School of Business Honors Program.
  • You may complete a 2 or 4 credit Directed Study with an SMG faculty member. This course may count towards one of your concentration requirements.
  • You may complete a Management Internship (.5 credits) with approval from your internship supervisor and the UPO.

For more information on these opportunities, please click on the links above, or visit us at the UPO.
