Business Analysis is growing at a phenomenal pace. Organisations are increasingly recognising the importance of business analysis in achieving successful change and many are investing heavily in developing this capability. The skills and techniques of business analysts are invaluable in shaping and forming business change overall as well as making the most of opportunities presented by new technologies. With the backdrop of a global economy recovering from a deep recession, organisations are in a constant state of fast-moving change and can't afford to get things wrong. Business Analysis capability is key to identifying what's needed and developing solutions that equip organisations for the future.
The Business Analysis Conference Europe 2013 provides an unparalleled networking opportunity for Business Analysts from across Europe and beyond. It will provide an interactive forum where Business Analysts can meet, discuss and debate the competencies needed to rise to the challenges faced by their organisations today and in the future. It also provides a platform for promoting the Business Analysis profession and opportunities for Business Analysts' personal development.
Whether you are just starting your BA journey, you are an experienced BA or you would like to understand the role of BAs further this conference is for you. At previous conferences organisations have sent a team of BAs to the event so that they can attend the vast majority of the sessions at the event. One of our sessions this year is by Specsavers who were inspired by previous Business Analysis Conferences Europe and returned to their practice abound with ideas. They achieved senior management buy in and reenergised the team with enthusiasm for practice improvement. A strategy was established where the BA team members owned their practice and were empowered to drive through positive transformation.
This year we have 11 Pre-Conference Workshops and 4 tracks of conference sessions comprising more than 40 presentations to select from. The tracks for this year are:
