About the Collections
Special Collections & Archives (SCA) houses the Merrill-Cazier Library's unique historical and cultural collections, along with an extensive collection of reference materials.* SCA consists of seven different sections: Art Book Collections, Photographs, Manuscripts, Preservation, Special Collections Books, University Archives, and the Fife Folklore Archives.

Using the Collections
Please Note: Special Collections & Archives (SCA) has different hours and rules than the rest of the library.* SCA is open from 8 to 5 Monday-Friday
* During the USU school year SCA is also open from 5 to 7 Tuesday-Wednesday, and some Saturdays.
* Materials cannot be checked out.
* SCA is located in the lower level of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
