First-Year Seminars introduce students to academic inquiry and the modes of expression that lie at the heart of a liberal arts education.

New Pilot Program for 2015-2016

Incoming students in the Class of 2019 are invited to register for a new two-semester FYS pilot program. Fall course topics include: Democracy and the Deficit; Chocolate: Food of the Gods; Storytelling and Identity; and Knowing and Choosing in the Face of Adversity and Uncertainty. Learn more.
