Cosmic Wimpout

It's more than an Experience.....it's a Game!

I was first intruduced to Cosmic Wimpout during a hellish summer I spent in North Carolina in 1993. The people I played with had a set of dice so worn you could barely see the symbols. They played a variant they called Zonk, but in retrospect it was clearly CW with a couple of house rules.

Or maybe not. There's an Official Zonk! Home Page. I dont know which came first. Maybe CW is a variant of Zonk!, or maybe they're both variants of some ancient Aztec game. Who knows?

I brought my winning scoresheets with me when I came home. I tried to reconstruct the rules from memory, using the scoresheets as a guide, but failed. Then, a month or two later, I found a boxed set of cubes at a local game store. I was ecstatic!

Almost immediately, I lost the rulesheet.

This site is the result of my trying to find the rules online, and deciding that it'd just be simpler if I collected everything I could find in one place. Enjoy.

Note: Cosmic Wimpout has an Official Site! As you might expect, it's at www.cosmicwimpout.com/. They also have an email address: clubhouse@cosmicwimpout.com

I'm not a very organized person by nature. This is odd, as I have strong archivist tendencies. Until I can figure out some kind of structure for these pages, they'll probably look a lot like this.
