Mobile Web Ghana:

  • is the first organization in Ghana offering a full range of services for aspiring entrepreneurs in mobile technologies,
  • is a community of many people passionate about technology and entrepreneurship
  • offers mobile technology training and incubation for anybody

We have strong ties with the local industry: many Ghanaian companies and experts have participated in our various events and training sessions.

We are partners with the World Wide Web Foundation, the organization founded by Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the Web, we have access to a network of world-wide experts, which helps us keep on the edge of technology.

We are a non-profit organization and we believe that, just like the Web is free, learning web technologies should be free too. That’s why we don’t charge for our activities meant for young entrepreneurs (besides a minimal fee, to ensure commitment): training, mentorship, incubation, attendance to events, etc.

That’s why we rely on donations and sponsorship. By sponsoring Mobile Web Ghana, you:

  • help aspiring IT entrepreneurs realize their dream
  • improve the Ghanaian’s ICT landscape and help Ghana’s development
  • are given visibility on our Website and our events
  • help keep alive an organization that promotes open knowledge and wants to give anybody a chance to succeed

There are many ways you can help us: become a mentor, come and do presentations at our events, sponsor the training sessions, or prizes we award our best entrepreneurs, provide venture capital to our startups, and much more. Please contact Florence Toffa (ftoffa@mobilewebghana.org) to know all about helping us.
