As web projects grow from wireframe, to design, and into implementation, tracking changes becomes very important. When it comes to version control tools, Git not only offers the ability to track versions, but also allows for collaboration via branching, and maintaining sustainable code by using issue tracking. When I was first introduced to Git, the concept was simple enough to grasp, yet the complexities and actual abilities were not as clear. Even, now after running many project through version control via Git I know I haven’t used it to its full potential. Even the surface level benefits of Git show great potential.
