An apprentice is a talented young person with ability and potential working for you. They become another member of staff with skills and an interest in wanting to learn how to succeed, and with the ability to relate to their peers and provide a fresh perspective to your business.

An apprentice is paid at national apprentice minimum wage at £2.60 p/h (from 1st October 2012 will change to £2.65 per hour), 30 hours minimum per week, with you providing a senior member of staff to supervise, mentor and support the young person’s professional development.
