Get Involved: Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of any film festival. It’s fun. It’s rewarding. It’s engaging. Be a part of the vital mission of the Global Peace Film Festival as a volunteer.
We need ushers, drivers, schleppers and helpers.
As a volunteer, you can see the festival from the inside out. You’ll meet the filmmakers and special guests. And you will make a difference.
To volunteer, please email at volunteer@peacefilmfest.org
Make sure to include your phone number and the times you are available. And if there is something you are particularly interested in, let us know. We want to match your interests to our needs wherever possible.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Get Involved: Promote Peace through Film and Goodshop.com
Did you know that every time you shop at any of over 4,000 retailers online, Goodshop.com could be donating a percentage of what you spend to Global Peace Film Festival? Those donations will help us present films from around the world that will further the goals of peace on earth via a medium that can deliver a personal message in a profound way.
If you already shop online, then take a look at the list of retailers working with Goodshop to ensure donations to over 110,000 charities and schools around the country. Retailers range from Quill, Bath & Body Works and Moosejaw to Guitar Center, Lillian Vernon and FootSmart.
Goodshop was founded in 2006 by a brother and sister team looking for simple ways for people to give back. Now our supporters can follow suit by signing up with the program and ensuring a portion of the money they spend online is donated to Global Peace Film Festival. In addition to funding these films, the donations made possible through your shopping online will enable us to provide educational panels with filmmakers and guests, where you can hear from local activists and find many ways to get involved.
We want you to benefit as well. Goodshop offers dozens of coupons, deals and promotions for each retailer AND ensures Global Peace Film Festival receives a donation. If you had recently used a Peruvian Connection coupon for free shipping or a VRBO coupon for saving up to 50% on a Hawaiian vacation, Goodshop would have donated 2.5% and 10% respectively towards Global Peace Film Festival. Regardless of the amount you purchase, you will be educating for peace through the power of motion picture.
Sign up at Goodshop.com, designate Global Peace Film Festival as your non-profit, then shop online at any of the 4,000+ retailers. It doesn’t matter if you shop at BH Cosmetics or Toshiba, you will be earning much-needed funds that will inspire and educate for peace.
