The University of Alabama’s bachelor of science in civil engineering program is one of the oldest in the country.
We have designed the bachelor’s program to be one of the most innovative engineering degree programs, allowing students maximum flexibility to select courses that will benefit them the most in support of their own career aspirations.

General Advising
The College of Engineering Academic Advising Center helps students plan their path to a degree. Advising appointments are required for semester and long term course planning, discussing or changing a major or minor along with extended discussion of these or other advising questions.

Pre-Med and Pre-Law
The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering also offers specialized curriculum for students wanting to pursue careers in medical and legal fields.
