Graduate Programs
Graduate students are vital to the Department of Mechanical Engineering’s research efforts.
Faculty and their students are conducting research in acoustics and vibration, biomechanics, computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer, computer-aided automation, CAD, combustion, design, energy conservation and management, HVAC, internal combustion engines, manufacturing, precision engineering, and turbomachinery. The department offers master’s and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering.
