Life in Honors

Finding your place is more about finding a place to contribute—a place that needs and values your particular insight or perspective. The University of Alabama Honors College celebrates each individual’s ability to contribute to this community of scholars. In addition to the numerous programs that help students achieve academic excellence, Honors College encourages students to grow socially—to create relationships that inspire and educate. Our Honors College Assembly provides a way for students to invest in both sides of the college experience, and provides leadership opportunities for students to give back.
