Klipsch Music Center
The Klipsch Music Center is a giant outdoor amphitheater located in the Noblesville, Indiana. With a seating capacity of 24,000, it’s the largest outdoor venue in the Indianapolis area. Although the venue is primarily used for concerts, it occasionally hosts political rallies and high school graduations.
Klipsch Music Center History
The venue first opened its doors in 1989 and has gone through two name changes since its opening year. The venue sits along Sand Creek near Indiana’s former Route 238. The venue was built by Sunshine Promotions, but is now owned and operated by Live Nation Entertainment.
The amphitheater was originally known as Deer Creek Music Center and was later renamed to Verizon Wireless Music Center. In 2011, Klipsch Group, Inc. purchased the naming rights to the venue and renamed the amphitheater to Klipsch Music Center.

Phish also performed and recorded their August 13, 1996 show at the venue. The show was later released in a live album. The band has played at the arena a total of 25 times.
Rihanna was scheduled to perform at the venue in 2010, but the show was canceled due to low ticket sales.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performed at the venue in 2013 and set a new attendance record for the music center with more than 24,000 fans attending the show.
