Expedition Overview

Four former Bristol University climbers organised their first unsupported expedition to the rarely visited Altai Mountains of southern Siberia in August 2012.

Over the three week trip, they completed five alpine routes graded between F and AD, all of which are believed to be British first ascents.

The expedition was made possible thanks to the support of the MEF, BMC, Alpine Club, Berghaus, Alpkit & Buffwear.
