CharlieCards and CharlieTickets make it easier than ever to ride the T. Review fares below or click on a transit mode on the left to see complete fares, passes, and reduced fare detail.
Tickets and cards store value for single or multiple rides, or you can load a T-Pass on your CharlieCard or CharlieTicket and travel as much and as often as you like. No matter how
you ride, there's a T-Pass to meet your needs. Visit a T-Pass Sales office, full-service, in-station
fare vending machine, and retail sales location or buy T-Passes online.

Fares effective July 1, 2014
The MBTA Board voted to implement fare and service changes to balance the FY2015 budget. The fare and service changes are effective July 1, 2014.

Effective July 1, 2012, Commuter Rail tickets will have the following expiration periods:
- All 10-ride tickets will be sold with an expiration time limit of 90 days.
- Single ride tickets will be sold with an expiration time of 90 days.
Note: When entering a station with a CharlieTicket or CharlieCard loaded with a daily, weekly, or monthly pass, customers cannot re-enter the station for a period of twenty minutes after the initial use.
