Just a note to say that I’m in the process of editing my reel, because of some content that can’t be publicly disclosed. I’ll get it ready soon!

    Congratulations to all of you!!!
I’m excited again looking forward to see what awesomeness this project brings us. It’s truly fulfilling to see how this great 3D software evolves with these major projects, and the great artists that support its development.
    Keep it up!

the demos of Roman Volodin is just extraordinary, He is taken for the 3d modeling or for the vfx compositing?

Stev: Roman is an all-rounder, he can help with both vfx and animation for us. Same goes for Francesco and actually Kjartan too… we have a great mix of skills in the team!

I’d love to see a reel cut together with the best clips of *all* the Mango artists (once the full selection is made)… a kind of “Mango pre-demo reel” if you will. Looks like such a great mix of people. What impresses me is how fast we’re seeing the top end of Blender users improve along with the software. It seems like we’re getting more and more real pro-level artists into Blender, which is awesome to see. Now, let us see the full awesome fury of Mango unleashed!

I don’t see any blender works in Roman Volodin portfolio. Is this artist gonna be a something like a consultant, or is he going to study blender, or does he know it? It’s just a little confusing that he doesn’t show anything done in blender.

I only linked two vimeo clips. He impressed us with Blender work too, he knows his 3d!

Who will be doing the music? Jan or someone else?

We’d love to work with Jan Morgenstern again. There’s too many variables now, decisions can be better made later.

Congratulations, guys! Great reels and web sites!
I’m very happy to see that there are soooooo many italians blender-ists (Blender artists).
    Enjoy Amsterdam!

A question for Ton: is it possible to have a webcam in the Blender Institute? I’d like very much to see and listen about the production process.
