“…we have, in this country, an immense reservoir of such men and women–anxious to sacrifice their energies and time and toil to the cause of world peace and human progress.”  ~   J.F.K., March 1, 1961.

Since the Peace Corps began in 1961, more than 200,000 Peace Corps Volunteers have served in 139 countries.  Of these dedicated men and women, 298 have sacrificed not only their energies and time, but also their lives while pursuing the Peace Corps mission. They are remembered here on this site, so that all may honor and celebrate their lives and service.

Our Mission

  • To celebrate the lives and service of fallen Peace Corps volunteers and staff through the creation of an Internet Memorial.
  • To create a network of support for the families and friends of fallen Peace Corps volunteers and staff.
  • To eventually establish or aid in the establishment of a permanent, physical memorial honoring all Peace Corps volunteers and staff who have died while in service.
