Accreditation

All bachelor of science in engineering programs except cyber engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, www.abet.org, and both bachelor of science programs in engineering technology are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, www.abet.org. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, www.abet.org.

Computing Resources

The Painter (Linux) and Bluedawg (IBM) Louisiana Optical Network Initiative (LONI) supercomputers are housed at Louisiana Tech. For more information, go to www.loni.org.

In addition to LONI resources, Tech is part of the Access Grid network. Access Grid is a multi-institutional, worldwide project that allows users to video conference in a large-scale, collaborative environment.
