The area's flat terrain, scenic pedestrian sidewalks and bike paths invite you to explore. Check out the map below that shows approximate walking times from the heart of Mission Bay. Bike routes are also indicated. Enjoy!
The Mission Bay Shuttles all have bike racks for easy transport of bicycles.
BIKE-SHARING is here
Bike-share is here at Mission Bay. The station is located in front of 330 Townsend Street (across the street from Caltrain).
Designed for running errands, the bike sharing program is membership-based, with fees that encourage short trips: the first 30 minutes are free; fees for 31-60 minutes in the $2 range and increase after one hour. Users can join directly from any bike station kiosk with a credit card.
The City is still analyzing potential locations additional bike-share facilities. Some of the possibilities include the area adjacent to the Farmers Market at Gene Friend Way; Caltrain; 4th & Berry; 2nd and Townsend; and 7th and Townsend.
