Bowdoin College Campus Maps
The Bowdoin College campus comprises approximately 215 acres and includes nearly 120 buildings. They range from Massachusetts Hall, built 1799–1802, to the College’s newest academic building, the award-winning Kanbar Hall, completed in 2004; LEED-certified "green" residence halls (2005); the state-of-the-art Studzinski Recital Hall (2007); Watson Arena, the first LEED-certified hockey arena in the United States (2008); and the new Peter Buck Center for Health and Fitness (2009), the College’s 44,659-square-foot health and wellness facility. Bowdoin's Coastal Studies Center, located eight miles from campus on 118 acres of Orr's Island, was completed in 1998.
