oh just discovered i could comment here… have been missing direct communication with u via comments making for blog posts. Some lovely posts u have written . i go over them more than usual just to fully absorb the essence which provides a new discernment sometimes and fresh tears often and i relish both.. whatever u send means so much and makes such difference that it is only its absence which makes this clear!!! do i make sense?well it does not matter. what matters is your love and dedication for sharing something we all love and cherish .All the best to ur efforts of fixing comment item of blog
Much love and hugs for this time of the year of sharing love and joy
    Wassalam

    As-salaamu alaykum dear sister,

I’m thinking about moving our family to Madina within four years or so in shaa’Allah (we need time to fulfill requirements of working there in shaa’Allah).

We used to live in a poor Arab country, and homeschooling there was truly challenging (tiny group of expats, even tinier homeschooling community, no library but a small expat – maintained one, poor parks, no community centers etc). I want to stay positive, but I don’t want to have a repeat of that aspect of life there.

I’m in LOVE with Madina for obvious reasons (Allahumma salli alayh), and for future events. I’m concerned my children won’t have interesting things to do there. They’re used to staying in a lot, making up games and stories, running around. But, as they get older, will there be a variety of activities, projects, friends in Madina? Life was really flat in the Arab country we lived in. Will we go, only to return?

What’s been your experience, sister? Is there a big expat community there — I’m looking for Americans and Canadians mostly. I’m looking for traditional families who love doing dhikr and going to mawlids.

    Jazaakum Allahu khayra,
    H.
