PTC is led by a Board of Governors (BG) and an Advisory Council (AC).
The BG, elected by the membership, has managerial and fiduciary oversight and is responsible for the Council’s strategic development.
The AC, comprised of both elected members and BG appointees, provides valuable knowledge and industry experience to help guide the Council’s work and progress.

Gregg Daffner is co-founder and CEO of GapSat, which leases in-orbit, operational satellites to satellite operators for use in their orbital slots for interim periods of time. Gregg is also president of G3 Global Communications, an international satellite venture incubation and consulting firm.
Previously, Gregg co-founded and was president of Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS). He headed satellite services for Hong Kong Telecom, was VP for PanAmSat and Lockheed Martin, and Director of International Policy for the US government's National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
Gregg is a Board member and Secretary of the Pacific Telecommunications Council, Chairman of The Cable and Satellite Broadcast Association of Asia (Casbaa) Wireless Action Group, a founding member and Vice President of the Asia Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC), and the Asian Attach for the Global VSAT Forum (GVF).
Gregg is an attorney who began his career as a New York based filmmaker and video artist.

Bruce Drake is a Councillor for the Village of Belcarra in British Columbia, Canada.
After completing an MBA at the University of British Columbia, he served for over a decade as Executive Director for the Pacific Region of Industry Canada, a federal department which has responsibilities similar to those of America's FCC and Department of Commerce. It was in this position he first became involved with PTC.
Bruce has been elected to his local municipal council for over 30 years and after retirement from the Government of Canada continues this service as well as his PTC involvement. He retains a strong personal interest in information and communications technology and policy and its impact on individuals as well as its potential to engage citizens and improve government services.
Bruce has been active in PTC governance for twenty years in a number of roles, including serving as president of its Board of Governors.

Bruce Baikie is an ICT4D consultant working in developing regions on sustainable computing, wireless broadband networks, and capacity building through partnerships and local ICT entrepreneurs. Prior to this, he served as Executive Director of Inveneo, a San Francisco-based social enterprise focused on providing connectivity and sustainable computing in some of the most challenging conditions around the globe. He has extensive experience in the energy and telecom industries, including 16 years at Sun Microsystems as telecom industry expert, and a background in engineering and implementing solar powered ICT4D projects.
His areas of expertise include wireless networking, eco-data centers, DC power, and solar power. His educational background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and advanced studies in International Business from the University of Wisconsin, and is currently completing a Masters of Computer Science program at Georgia Tech.
During the past five years, Mr. Baikie has been mentoring engineering students from Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Colorado-Boulder, San Francisco State University, CalPoly, University of Guam, and San Jose State University in ICT4D design with projects in Micronesia, Haiti and West Africa.

Prior to this, Will was CEO of Telstra Global Americas for more than three years, driving sales, marketing, engineering and operations efforts throughout North and South America. Before becoming CEO, Will was Senior Vice President, Product and Design for Telstra, responsible for the marketing, engineering and commercial functions for the Americas region.
