  • Be Part of the Mound Tile Wall Legacy With Your Own Tile!

    Mound Outdoor Education 2016 (current 5th graders) are partnering with SilverGraphics to celebrate creativity and raise funds for their trip to Catalina Island Marine Institute! Students of any age and parents can order a tile for a new Mound tile wall for just $20! AND, SilverGraphics can imprint your child's art on products of your choice ranging from magnets to iPhone covers to wooden treasure boxes. Order unique and personal custom gifts for the whole family – product orders will be received the week of 12/7, just in time for the holiday season! Please join us in creating a lasting memory of your child’s time at Mound with this colorful wall.

    Order forms are in your student’s backpack or available here!

    Art Day Friday 10/16, 12-1pm at the blue tables, or create at home or use artwork you’ve already created.

    All orders must be received by Monday, 10/26 (after fall break)!

  • Color Fun Run Fall 2015
    You are invited to the Balboa and Mound Color Fun Run on     Sunday, November 8. Proceeds benefit the Mound Outdoor Ed Program. Run starts at 11 am from Balboa Middle School. Purchase tickets here!

  • Back to School Night 2015

    Back to School Night 2015 will be Tuesday, September 1, 5:30-7:30pm. Meet the teachers! See your child's classroom! Chat with friends, and enjoy a delicious meal from Scooter's BBQ. Dinner is served at 5:30. Don't miss the first PTO meeting at 6:30.

    Dinner must be pre-ordered by Thursday, August 27. Download the attached form, fill it out, and give it to your child's teacher or put it in the "Back to School Night" box in the school office.

    All proceeds benefit the 5th grade Outdoor Education program.

The Mound Elementary School PTO funds and organizes many of the activities and events that occur throughout the year at Mound Elementary School in Ventura, California. These include:

  • The Annual Jog-a-Thon fundraiser
  • Can and bottle recycling drive
  • Rocket Into Reading book fair
  • Outdoor education class trips
  • School Make-Over
