Kern County has approved additional training for Herbicide Drift Prevention Permit Conditions. The first on January 19 at the Technology Learning Center, 1101 Dairy Ave. in Corcoran and the second on January 21 from 10-11 a.m. at 1031 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. in Bakersfield.

2016 Restricted Material Permit/Op ID issuance will begin December 14, 2015. Growers may call for an appointment beginning November 30, 2015.

All licensed individuals and companies intending to do business in Kern County must register annually. You may register now. Information and forms are available on our website for the following licenses: farm labor contractor, maintenance gardener, pest control advisor, pest control business, pest control pilot and structural pest control business.
